The Codex
Unearthed during an unsanctioned excavation near the ancient ruins of Mohenjo-daro, a mysterious artifact has defied modern comprehension. Though found in the Indus Valley, its script is archaic Sumerian, dating back over 7,000 years. The book is forged from an unidentified, indestructible material, howevery, astonishngly the book looks like a modern style book. While its later pages appear hauntingly void, the cover bears a single chilling name: "LAMASHTU"—the Sumerian demoness of chaos and misfortune.
The Celestial Map
The first page reveals a complex map of existence as seen by the ancients. It is divided into four sacred quadrants: • The Land of Gods: The celestial heavens above. • The Land of the Living: The earthly realm we inhabit. • The Land of the Dead: The shadowy underworld. • The Land of the Unknown: The void beyond the stars. Scholars believe this map is not a guide to geography, but a portal to the trials that follow.
Sonaleen: The Prophecy
Written in a haunting, rhythmic verse, the first page reveals the tragedy of Sonaleen—the "Pearl of Paradise." Stolen from a Sumerian Princess by the vengeful Lamashtu, the pearl was cast into the depths of a primordial ocean to strip humanity of its light. Lamashtu’s decree is absolute: the pearl shall remain hidden until a "Mind of the Ancients" emerges. Only by solving a series of divine riddles can the seeker reclaim what was lost.
The Empty Pages
The Codex is alive. Lamashtu watches. You have been chosen for the first riddle. The ink for the next trial will only manifest on the void-like pages once the current mystery is shattered. The path is treacherous and demands genius. Should you succeed, the true location of the Sonaleen will appear. It is said that those who return the Pearl to its rightful place will be granted divine providence—the power to reshape the four realms and rule the world.
